From Fr. Tom,

Today’s Feast of the Baptism of the Lord signifies the end of the liturgical Christmas Season and marks the beginning of what the Church calls Ordinary Time. Jesus’ baptism doesn’t really affect Him since He’s God already, but signifies His unity with us in being sent by God the Father to do His will. Baptism makes available all the grace we need to do just that. Remember that Jesus wants to be as close to us as possible, and living out our Baptism is the perfect way to let Him be there! Betty and Al Radetic were my Baptismal godparents. Both are deceased now. Say a prayer for your godparents today. Also pray for more grace!!
