Did you know that almost HALF of Jesus’ teachings, parables, and stories talk about money? Can you imagine if pastors talked about money in half of their homilies?! Just think about it, every two weeks you would hear a homily about money. In the Gospel today, Jesus talks about money and its proper use. I think it was John D. Rockefeller who said, “It is wrong to assume that people who are incredibly wealthy are always happy and satisfied.” No kidding, Just look at the turmoil and tragedy in the lives of many celebrities. I guess the bottom line is to be good and charitable with the blessings God gives us and He will see to it that we always have enough. God bless you.
