Have you ever seen one of these gifts that when you unwrap it, there is another wrapped gift inside it, and inside that one there is another wrapped gift, and so on until you get to the smallest wrapped gift and finally the actual present is revealed? The revelation of Jesus Christ is similar in that He constantly reveals Himself throughout human history. The feast of the Epiphany commemorates the first human revelation to the “right” people, the Maji, who will venerate and respect Him, not like Herod who saw Jesus as a threat and a rival! May we, like the Maji, constantly search for Jesus everywhere and in everyone. Jesus is truly the Gift that keeps on giving! God bless you.
