“Jesus, Mary, and St. Joseph!” That’s what my dad used to say (yell) when he saw one of us kids do something stupid or say to my mom if they were in an argument. I don’t know if he realized it then, but he might have been asking the Holy Family to help our own family. I doubt it, but it’s a nice thought, isn’t it? In this day and age, families are a far cry from what they were just 15 or 20 years ago. As we celebrate and commemorate the Feast of the Holy Family, we ask that the love and blessings that held the Holy Family together may be the bond that holds our families together as well. God bless all families with care and concern for one another.
